Vanaf Born werd per dieplader de eerste locomotief van de ZLSM overgebracht naar Simpelveld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IJzerhandel Lommaert uit Born had de diesel-rangeerlok van het type K\u00f6f II al een half jaar niet meer in gebruik en schonk de machine aan de ZLSM. De lok startte direkt en met het onthullen van een plaquette met daarop de doopnaam \u2018Lommaert\u2019 werd de overdracht afgesloten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De volgende maanden werden besteed aan een grondige motorrevisie en het herstellen van het plaatwerk.
