The complete day out at the Miljoenenlijn!
The package consists of: Steam train ride to Schin op Geul, train ride to Kerkrade or Vetschau, an extensive lunch and an educational walk around the railway yard in Simpelveld.

Autumn Holiday Program 2024
You begin at 10:30 am at Simpelveld Station. At 10:45 am, board the steam train for a round trip to Schin op Geul, returning to Simpelveld at 12:05 pm.
At 12:15 pm, you can either continue on the same steam train to Kerkrade and back, or switch to the railbus at Simpelveld for a round trip to Vetschau (in Germany). Both trains return by 1:00 pm.
Upon arrival in Simpelveld, you can enjoy a delicious and extensive lunch at Brasserie Perron 4 starting at 1:00 pm.
Afterward, embark on a unique historical journey from the Stationmaster’s office on Platform 1 (look for the “Stationmaster” sign). This self-guided walking tour around Simpelveld Station provides a behind-the-scenes look at our exceptional railway and shares insights into the rich history of the station and line. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the workshop and admire our railway equipment.
Kerst Expres Program 2024
Between December 14 and January 5, the “Kerst Expres” runs again on the Miljoenenlijn! During this festive season, we also offer the Miljoenenlijn Arrangement. The program is as follows:

At 12:20 pm, continue on our railbus along the old international railway line through Bocholtz to Vetschau (in Germany) and back, arriving again at Simpelveld Station at 1:05 pm.

This arrangement can only be booked online until one day before the respective travel day. This arrangement starts at Simpelveld Station, please present your e-ticket at the ticket office in the station before the start of the arrangement.
